Socially Responsible Business in Small Town America Face Unique Challenges

The same natural beauty and small town charm that make places like Pagosa Springs so special and such a draw for vacationers and people seeking a more tranquil style of life are some of the same things that make it more difficult for socially responsible small business (either profit or non-profit,) to raise funds to make a positive difference in the lives of people in the community and support the institutions that make life better for everyone.

What do you think are some of the limitations (that are unique to small town Southwest Colorado,) which make it hard for your non-profit or socially responsible business to participate in a way that makes a real difference?

Also please give us your opinion of our upcoming fundraiser!

Maybe together we can find some solutions!

Four Corners Folk Festival 2017

Whether you’re a local, want to be a local, or are just visiting for a spell, the 22nd Annual Four Corners Folk Festival is a fun way to spend the first weekend in September enjoying some killer folk and bluegrass music in the San Juan mountains. This famous festival is being held right here in Pagosa Springs and features headliners like Los Lobos, The Accidentals, and the Drunken Hearts. The festival runs from Sept 1st-3rd, 2017 on our beautiful Reservoir Hill which is full of trails and, just recently, a beautiful herd of moose were even spotted nearby.

Come listen to music, hang out, dance, and, when you’re not enjoying the festival, check out our local hot springs and hiking trails.

See you there!

*Looking for a place to stay? We still have a few vacation rentals available so book now and come hang out with us at the festival.
