“Love of education- for reading, learning, discovery, nature- takes root in preschool.” Vicki Palmer

Early childhood education is often a key in the door to success, and can provide children with an enthusiasm for lifelong learning.  Parents of young children in Pagosa Springs have experienced the ups & downs of finding reliable care for toddler and preschool aged children.

According to a recent article in the Pagosa Springs Sun, a “generous community partner” has purchased and donated a building in order for an additional early childcare center to open in the fall of 2019.  The donated center is currently undergoing renovations, and expected to open next year.

More and more families are making the move to Pagosa Springs, as the workforce throughout Archuleta County continues to expand.

“Many preschool activities are centered around teamwork for this very reason; a person who learns how to work in a team at an early age will ultimately be more socially attuned and more employable!”

Pagosa Springs to add additional Early Childcare and Education Center; additional option for working parents in the area.
