SnowDown!
Come to Durango and join the 41st annual Snowdown. This years theme is “A Superhero Snowdown” for all you comic book lovers. It ends February 3rd so check it out before it’s over. There are over 50 events happening including beer plunge, hot wings contest, hula hoop contest and many more. … And we’re loving them!! Wolf Creek Ski Area is running full swing, with nothing but blue skis and tons of snow! According to WolfCreekSki.com, the all-natural base is 65 inches at the midway! Lifts are open daily from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Daily lift tickets are $72 for adults, $43 for seniors, and $37 for children.
Everyone is a local this Sunday— tickets are $50 for adults, $33 for seniors, and $27 for children.
3 DAYS OF WINTER FUN!
WINTERFEST 2019 kicks off Friday, January 25, with the annual Chamber Gala at 6:00pm. This weekend, Winterfest will host Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascensions, Sled Races, Cross Country Ski Clinic, Fat Bike Race, BB Gun Biathlon, the ever popular Penguin Plunge, and much more! Wolf Creek Ski Area is Set to Open This Weekend!
After a 20 inch storm this week, Wolf Creek Ski Area, Colorado has announced they will be opening for weekends starting October 13th! Wolf Creek currently has a base at the midway of 14 inches. The ski area will open three lifts from 9:00am to 4:00 pm this Saturday and Sunday. Access to the lifts will be at the Local Appreciation rate of $50 for adults, $33 for seniors, and $27 for children. Customer Appreciation Day with the Choke Cherry Tree!!
We will be teaming with our neighbor, The Choke Cherry Tree, for a Customer Appreciation Day on June 23, 2018 from 8am-6pm. We’re donating our bouncy house to the lawn party, while The Choke Cherry Tree will be offering free samples and prizes!
