Snow in the Forecast for Wolf Creek Ski Area

With 24″ at the base of Wolf Creek Ski Area, both the Ski Area and town of Pagosa Springs are excited for the forecasted snow this weekend! The snow comes just in time for Wolf Creek’s College Day on January 21 and their Locals Appreciation Day on January 24; both days offering discounted lift tickets.

Pagosa Springs’ Upcoming Winterfest

The annual Pagosa Springs Winterfest will return February 2-4, 2018. The Winterfest is a fun-filled family event, including activities such as fat bike races, sled races, a ‘penguin plunge’ and more! The Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce encourages locals and visitors to get involved in the daily festival activities. Well hello SNOW, lovely to see you again!

Wolf Creek Ski Area is open seven days a week for the season with 100% of the mountain open!

Wolf Creek received 3 inches overnight and it’s still snowing! The all-natural snow depth is 114 inches at the midway bringing our year-to-date snowfall total to 351 inches!

Midway Base Depth: 114″

The Raven, Bonanza, Nova, Elma, Treasure Stoke AND Alberta Lifts are operating from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm!

This Sunday, February 26th is College Day. Lift tickets are just $44 for students with a valid college photo I.D. AND current, printed class schedule!

The next race in the Fun Race Series is also Sunday, February 26th. The Mardi Gras Race begins at 11:00 am and is free and open to skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities!

 The Horseshoe Bowl SnowCat Shuttle will run dependent on visibility and as conditions allow. Please inquire at the Ticket Office for current operating status. The shuttle is FREE with purchase of a lift ticket!

The Meadow Loop of the Nordic Track was groomed Monday, February 20th! The backside segment of the 6 km Nordic loop is not open; the loop is now about 4 km.
