Although we are hoping for a few months of off-season winter sports, Wolf Creek Ski area has scheduled a tentative closing day of April 7, 2019.
Often referred to as Gaper Day, the last day of ski/snowboard season tends to be an afternoon of friends, costumes, tailgating, and more! Gaper Day is essentially the April Fool’s of the mountain– an event you’ll be sorry if you miss! So get your costumes ready and join us for the fun at Wolf Creek!

With the amount of snow Pagosa Springs has received lately the only tubing hill in town is open! Located at High Country Lodge going towards Wolf Creek. $15 per person to tube for an hour and a half and for children 3 and under, or smaller than 42 inches, can ride for free. Come shred some powder this Sunday, February 24th up at Wolf Creek! Any college student just $50!.. Make sure you bring your college photo ID and a current printed class schedule! After, come soak in the worlds deepest hot springs @ The Hot Springs. If you’re a Fort Lewis college student just show your ID and you’ll get to soak at a local rate! Enjoy this fine winter storm everyone and be safe!

WolfCreekSki.com has reported 305 inches of snow have fallen on the mountain this season! Currently, the midway base sits at 118 inches of snow. Not only does Wolf Creek Mountain have more snow than any other Colorado resort this year, it is also one of the most reasonably priced resorts in the state. If you haven’t taken advantage of the fresh powder, you’re missing out!
… And we’re loving them!! Wolf Creek Ski Area is running full swing, with nothing but blue skis and tons of snow! According to WolfCreekSki.com, the all-natural base is 65 inches at the midway! Lifts are open daily from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Daily lift tickets are $72 for adults, $43 for seniors, and $37 for children.
Everyone is a local this Sunday— tickets are $50 for adults, $33 for seniors, and $27 for children.
WINTERFEST 2019 kicks off Friday, January 25, with the annual Chamber Gala at 6:00pm. This weekend, Winterfest will host Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascensions, Sled Races, Cross Country Ski Clinic, Fat Bike Race, BB Gun Biathlon, the ever popular Penguin Plunge, and much more! Wolf Creek Ski Resort has been getting packed, snow packed! Due to our latest snow storm they’ve gotten 10 inches of fresh powder in the last 24 hours. Thank goodness for our beautiful winter storm recently. Wolf Creek is opened 7 days a week for the season including holidays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our latest storm has given Wolf Creek 5 inches of fresh powder so come check it out. The roads leading to Wolf Creek are plowed and sanded for winter driving.
