Ice Melt Contest
The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club will be hosting this ice melt contest on Hatcher Lake. The date of the Ice melt is still being determined but the last day to make a guess will be 03/20/2019. Individual guesses are $5. 5 guesses for $20 and 30 guesses for $100. How it’s done is they haul a drum out to the lake and attached to the drum are clocks. Once the ice gives way and the clocks go under water they’ll stop working. The grand prize winner gets $1,000, second place gets $500 and third gets $250. All proceeds go to the Pagosa Springs Graduating High School Senior Scholarship fund. For more information click on the image below!…

Tubing Hill!
With the amount of snow Pagosa Springs has received lately the only tubing hill in town is open! Located at High Country Lodge going towards Wolf Creek. $15 per person to tube for an hour and a half and for children 3 and under, or smaller than 42 inches, can ride for free. After, come soak in the worlds deepest hot springs @ The Hot Springs. If you’re a Fort Lewis college student just show your ID and you’ll get to soak at a local rate! 300 INCHES AND COUNTING!
WolfCreekSki.com has reported 305 inches of snow have fallen on the mountain this season! Currently, the midway base sits at 118 inches of snow. Not only does Wolf Creek Mountain have more snow than any other Colorado resort this year, it is also one of the most reasonably priced resorts in the state. If you haven’t taken advantage of the fresh powder, you’re missing out!

Tonight at Coyote Moon Kendra Lee, a country singer will be performing at 9pm! As for tomorrow night and every other Saturday night, there’s karaoke happening at 9 as well! Coyote Moon Bar and Grill located in Pagosa Springs.
SnowDown!
Come to Durango and join the 41st annual Snowdown. This years theme is “A Superhero Snowdown” for all you comic book lovers. It ends February 3rd so check it out before it’s over. There are over 50 events happening including beer plunge, hot wings contest, hula hoop contest and many more. This is a 5 – day event that happens every year at the end of January, beginning of February. Click on Wonder Woman to see what events are going on today!

… And we’re loving them!! Wolf Creek Ski Area is running full swing, with nothing but blue skis and tons of snow! According to WolfCreekSki.com, the all-natural base is 65 inches at the midway! Lifts are open daily from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Daily lift tickets are $72 for adults, $43 for seniors, and $37 for children.
Everyone is a local this Sunday— tickets are $50 for adults, $33 for seniors, and $27 for children.
