We’re loving the cooler weather and beautiful colors here in Pagosa Springs! Who’s with us? If you have never experienced a Colorado fall, it is time to book a visit to our little mountain town.
With 24″ at the base of Wolf Creek Ski Area, both the Ski Area and town of Pagosa Springs are excited for the forecasted snow this weekend! The snow comes just in time for Wolf Creek’s College Day on January 21 and their Locals Appreciation Day on January 24; both days offering discounted lift tickets.
Here’s the current report from WolfCreekSki.com:
Summit Depth: 24″ Midway Depth: 22″ Snowfall YTD: 69″
As of Tuesday, Wolf Creek will be open seven days a week for the 2017-2018 season! Lucky for Pagosa Springs locals and visitors, our mountain is known for some of the most affordable skiing and snowboarding, Very short lift lines, and excellent powder. With an average of 480″ per year, Wolf Creek is always a contender for most snow in Colorado.
Here are the Conditions as of 6:21 this morning:
Summit Depth: 14″ Midway Depth: 12″ Snowfall YTD: 38″

This is a dear friend of mine named Ralph and I at the top of Pagosa Peak. I like to think of him as my own personal Sherpa. If you’re new to the area, get out there and explore!!! Nothing is more exhilarating than conquering a mountain, especially for an ex-city boy~ (even if it is only 12,600′ elevation)
Have Fun & Live Life!!!
