We would like to THANK all that were involved in making Our Giving Tree’s a success. Terry’s Ace Hardware & Liberty Theatre for displaying the giving tree’s. Amazing Grace Church, Justice Ministries, Mardel Head Start Center, Pine Ridge and Vets for Vets, were there to assist us with connecting with local families. Special partners, our local Walmart- Virginia Gillespie, Toys for Tots – Barbara Swindlehurst and all those that took tags, wrapped and returned the gifts back to us, so that were able to get them to the families. Thank you- Thank you just doesn’t seem to convey how very thankful we are for all that you did! There were 22 families and 50 recipients of gifts this year. NextHome RMR is #HumansOverHouses ~ Thank you Archuleta County !
Giving Tree
This is truly a beautiful moment. Pagosa Springs residents never stop amazing us with their generosity & true caring for one another – even those they don’t know. NextHome RMR has two giving trees: Ace Hardware has 2 tags left & Liberty Theatre has 4 tags left. We have come so far and as you can see the Christmas gifts are coming in. We still need your assistance in making the Holidays for some families a remember-able one. We will start to notify the families so that the gifts can be delivered or picked up.
It is always nice to hear from owners – it is especially nice to hear that they are happy with our services.
Britney, I want to thank you and your staff for your professional service, your prompt replies to questions, you work late hours, you are reliable, and you get things done. It is a pleasure to have a professional working relationship with you, and looking forward to many more years.

Nov. 24: 4th Annual Art for the Animals (AFTA) 2019 10am – 4pm at PLPOA 230 Port Ave: Art for the Animals (AFTA) is a holiday event for local artisans offering custom creations of many kinds. AFTA is hosted by and benefits the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs & Pagosa Springs Arts Council. In addition to local artists’ amazing creations, AFTA offers shoppers live music, free parking, gift wrapping, holiday decorations, food and drinks.
Nov. 28: Sage Mobile, 275 E. Pagosa Street: This will be their second annual FREE Thanksgiving lunch. They will be offering lunch to anyone in need of a good hot meal and some company.
Nov. 29: Meet the artist Belvedere Arts Studio and Gallery, 2363 Eagle Drive. 4pm-6pm. Featuring art by Cheryl Crane, with music by Steve Blech Schmidt.
Nov. 29: Santa Arrives Town of Pagosa Springs Visitor Center 105 Hot Springs Blvd: Plan to stop by for cookies and hot chocolate to kick off the holiday season.
Will It Be An Early Spring?
Over the weekend, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow upon emerging from his burrow. Traditionally, an early Spring is expected when the groundhog does not see his shadow. Although his predictions aren’t always accurate, we are a little excited about the thought of an early Spring! Until then, come enjoy the fresh powder and winter fun in our quaint little mountain town! Wolf Creek Ski Area has 13″ of fresh snow from the current storm. We participated in The Giving Tree this year, and were able to collect over 100 presents for local families in need! We are so grateful for our agents, employees, and community members who helped make this possible. The heart-felt reactions and gratitude we have received has been overwhelming!
