Wolf Creek Snow Report

We are halfway through the week! Only a few more days until the weekend. And trust me, you’re going to be even more excited for the weekend when you hear about the snow Wolf Creek has received over the last few days!

Wolf creek has received 11″ from the most recent storm, bringing the 7-day total to 16″!

The snowfall year-to-date is 71″.Screenshot_20221207_103332

The midway snow depth is 39″ and the summit snow depth is 42″.

The conditions are powder/packed powder with excellent early season conditions and unmarked obstacles.

The mountain is officially 100% open with 9 lifts and 1,600 skiable acres!!!

The pick of the hill today is Tranquility.

Lift tickets are at Local Appreciation rates today and tomorrow (12/7 & 12/8). $62 for adults, $43 for seniors and $32 for children!

Based on the forecast, it looks like we might receive more snow today. After this storm moves out, we most likely won’t be seeing more snowfall until Sunday.

Well, the weekend has come to an end. But that only means we have an entire new week of great things ahead of us! Happy Monday! Let’s take a look at Wolf Creek’s snow report as of this morning:

Wolf Creek received 3 inches of snow within the last 24 hours! With that, the snowfall year-to-date is at 47″!

The forecast does include a chance of more snow showers!

The mountain conditions are powder/packed powder with EXCELLENT early season conditions and unmarked obstacles!

The mountain remains at 90% open.

Today’s pick of the hill is Powder Puff.

Happy Friday!! With the weekend rolling in, let’s take a quick look at the Wolf Creek Snow Report! We have not received any new snow as of today, but the forecast shows a chance of snow starting Sunday and continuing into the early week! Fingers crossed that these storms bring in a ton of fresh powder!

The conditions remain powder/packed powder with early season conditions and unmarked obstacles.

The past few weeks have been quite dry in Pagosa Springs, but luckily we are able to escape to the mountain where there is always a place for fun!

Our local ski resort has been blessed with 27 inches of fresh snow in the latest storm leaving us 13 inches of fresh pow in the last 24 hours. Blue skies are upon us today, resulting in powder packed and extensively groomed bluebird conditions. Year-to-date snow fall is currently residing at 251″

Wolf Creek Pass is located approximately 24 miles South East of Pagosa Springs in the beautiful San Juan mountains. A 30-40 minute drive from your new potential home! Free and open to skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. Sign up is from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Raven’s Nest building and the race is from 11am to 1pm on Charisma run.

The New Year has been a sunny one in Pagosa Springs so far. One great place to enjoy the sun is on Wolf Creek! Every trail is open and there is snow in the forecast for this weekend. If you don’t have a pass already, they are available on Wolf Creek’s website here or in-person on the mountain! Season Passes are available as well as day passes. If you want to scope things out before heading up the pass, check out the Wolf Creek Live Webcams. They offer multiple angles of the ski area!

It snowed in Colorado this past weekend… A lot! Wolf Creek Pass received 14 inches of powder overnight, and Pagosa Springs woke up to steady snowfall! Wolf Creek ~Fresh Powder~Slope time

Welcome to Pagosa Springs, CO ! One of our main activities when the snow falls is skiing, snow boarding, and sledding or maybe just building the cutest snowman ever. Wolf Creek is one of the best places to play in the snow.  Wolf Creek was able to open on October 13, 2019 this was the second earliest in Wolf Creek history!

Wolf Creek is excited to announce the opening of the upper mountain this weekend with Treasure Stoke, Bonanza, Elma, Nova, Lynx and the Magic Carpet lifts operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.!  The mountain will now be open 7 days a week starting this Saturday, November 23rd!  The ski area will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd.

  • Wolf Creek will be open 7 days a week for the season beginning Saturday, November 23rd.
  • Wolf Creek will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd.
  • To celebrate the opening of the upper mountain, Wolf Creek will be offering the Local Appreciation Rate until further notice.  Local appreciation rates are $54 for adults, $36 for seniors and $29 for children.
  • The Ski School will be available for both adults and children, including the Wolf Pup Program.  The Ski Rental and Boarder Dome will also be open, as well as Treasure Sports.
  • The Wolf Creek Lodge will be open this weekend with a full menu as well as the Prospector Grill, the Continental Espresso Bar and Base Camp, Wolf Creek’s Picnic Building.
  • There will be entertainment in the Main Day Lodge this weekend with Christof the One Man Band from Taos.

With the new snow fall skiing or snowboarding  conditions perfect for your Thanksgiving holiday! There will be plenty of fresh powder when doing big air jumps or if you are more of a novice and biffs are your thing then you are in luck! WE DID IT!

Wolf Creek boasts over 400″ in this season’s total snowfall, making it the leader of snowfall in Colorado this year! While closing day was set for April 7, 2019, the mountain will continue to be open on weekends through April 21, 2019. We can’t wait to take advantage of another 3 weeks of bluebird days!
